The Sankranti holiday has worked in favour of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, helping the film maintain steady momentum at the box office.
Starring Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara as an estranged couple, the Telugu action-comedy is directed by Anil Ravipudi and released in theatres on January 12.
After a strong opening, the film saw a slight dip on its second day. However, the festive push of Sankranti and Pongal helped it recover on Day 3, keeping audience footfalls steady.
The film is produced by Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainment and also features an entertaining cameo by Venkatesh Daggubati.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu collected around ₹19.25 crore net on Day 3, which coincided with Sankranti on January 14.
The film had opened with ₹32.25 crore net on Day 1 and had already garnered ₹9.35 crore net through pre-sales.
With this, the film’s total box office collection stands at approximately ₹79.60 crore net after three days.
If it continues to post double-digit figures in the coming days, trade circles believe the film could comfortably enter the ₹100 crore club within its first week.
