Corona Vedantham Of A Distributor

Corona Vedantham Of A Distributor

The producers who are either midway in making a film or waiting for theatrical release are facing a burden of extra interests. Other than that, 90% of the producers are with no problem left, as their films are not on the sets.

The only problem is for exhibitors. As the theatres were shut, they have been in big turmoil for the first time ever since the cinema was born.

The people who are happy with this are the distributors. They are the ones who face losses in general. With no films and no theatres in active mode, their money is safe.

None of the films that were released on OTTs could get better reviews from the audience. Had the theatres been open, the distributors would have lost in a big way by gambling on them. Overseas buyers are also saved in a big way.

"Well, theatre owners were the people that have enjoyed profits for decades together irrespective of the fate of the films. But now, they are the worst affected. Distributors are the worst affected in general. But Corona has saved them. Nature does the balance unknowingly. Had we bought any of the recent films we would have perished. We realized that after watching them on OTT", said a popular distributor from West Godavari.
