Dhanush who is awaiting the release of Kubera announced his new project, during the Cannes Film Festival in France.
The movie to be directed by Om Raut is titled Kalam, and it’s a biopic based on the life of former Indian President and legendary scientist Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.
The Missile Man of India is the tagline of the movie to be produced jointly by Abhishek Agarwal, Anil Sunkara, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar under the banners of Abhishek Agarwal Arts and AK Entertainments.
The film to be made ambitiously will be presented by Gulshan Kumar, Tej Narayan Agarwal, and T-Series Films.
A symbolic title poster unveiled at the event features a powerful silhouette of Dr. Kalam, intersected by a missile, highlighting his pivotal role in India’s missile development.
Dhanush is expected to undergo a comprehensive makeover and emotional preparation process to authentically portray the late scientist.
