Buzzz: Crores Of Rupees For Copy Tunes

Buzzz: Crores Of Rupees For Copy Tunes

The situation in the Telugu film industry is pitiful. The big films are relying on only two music directors just for 'name sake'. There are many talented music directors but the brand name sells better than the content.

We are talking about Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman who have come up with a below average and a dud this week.

No one knows how the heroes and directors have agreed to these tunes and lyrics. The star heroes also seem to be carried away by the brand name of these music directors.

Both the songs 'Boss Party' from Waltair Veerayya and 'Jai Balayya' from Veera Simha Reddy have been receiving heavy criticism from the listeners and the fans.

Keeping the quality of the song aside, S Thaman's 'Jai Balayya' is a copy paste from Osey Ramulamma much to the shock of fans and music lovers. He had shamelessly lifted the tune from Vandemataram Srinivas.

Can't he give something original? RamajogayyaSastry penned amateur lyrics for this song with 'Jai Balayya' as the song's title. Why this Jai Balayya slogan when the song is from Veera Simha Reddy?

Similarly DSP took inspiration from 14year old Simbu's song from Silambattam that goes with the line 'where is the party'.

Many music directors in the industry are raising their eyebrows for the kind of remuneration being given to these two music directors and the quality of songs they gave.

Apart from crores of remuneration, these music directors are also being given accomodation in star hotels which is a mere waste for the quality of content they deliver.
