The pre-release event of megastar Chiranjeevi’s Bholaa Shankar was a big success with the entire team attending it, along with a few special guests.
Directors Gopichand Malineni, Bobby, Vamshi Paidipally, Buchi Babu, and Sampath Nandi and star producer Allu Aravind graced the occasion.
Keerthy Suresh stated that the brother-sister track is the major attraction in the movie and she also expressed her happiness that she got a brother in form of Meher Ramesh.
“This movie also gave me a good friend like Tamannaah. Chiranjeevi is a mega-human.”
Producer Anil Sunkara thanked Meher Ramesh because of whom he got the chance to make a movie with Chiranjeevi.
“It’s a lifetime achievement for me to make a movie with Chiranjeevi garu. I learnt a lot in these two years journey. The movie has everything that fans expect from a Chiranjeevi starrer.”
Meher Ramesh called it as a re-birth for him to getting the opportunity to direct Chiranjeevi.
“Being Chiranjeevi’s relative is the biggest recognition for me. He created many records with Waltair Veerayya. He is going to entertain you in a big way in Bholaa Shankar. Keerthy Suresh got tears in her eyes when she heard the story.”
Chiranjeevi made an interesting statement that the industry doesn’t belong to any single person. He said young talent should come to the industry and they will have his blessings. He also revealed the reason for doing the remake of Vedhalam.
Many asked me, why I was doing remakes. When the content is good, there’s no wrong in doing remakes. There is huge exposure due to OTT. This movie Vedhalam isn’t available on any OTT platform.
I didn’t have any doubts while doing this movie. We already had superhit vibes, while shooting for the movie. There was full josh on set every day in presence of Keerthy, Tamannah, and other actors.
Meher never wanted to use a ‘brother card’ for offers. He grew on his own. He did complete justice to the movie. Tamannaah played a mass and funny character for the first time. Keerthy is one of the greatest actors. It was so fun working with her.
The sentiment between our characters worked well. Anil Sunkara is a passionate producer. I wish Bholaa Shankar will become a much bigger hit than Waltair Veerayya.”
