Balakrishna Covers Up 'Losses' with Next Films

Nandamuri Balakrishna may have an image of a top star but he doesn’t demand huge remuneration.

He has been getting a modest paycheck. But now, he has joined the bandwagon and has hiked his remuneration despite delivering three flops in a row.

The senior star has recently agreed to take two films to the sets.

The first one to go to the sets will be with the director Gopichand Malineni. The film is being bankrolled by cash-rich production house Mythri Movie Makers and the producers have agreed to pay more remuneration than what he has been getting.

Balakrishna is reportedly demanding the same amount for director Anil Ravipudi’s film which will also go to the sets in September. Shine Creations will produce the film.

Balakrishna has slashed his remuneration for ‘Akhanda’ as the producer threatened to back out from the project owing to the high cost of production. He is now making up that lost money with the next two projects.
