Director Krish is going through one of the most challenging phases of his career. His latest film, Ghaati, turned out to be a massive dud.
Before that, he delivered a string of flops including NTR Mahanayakudu, Kondapolam, and the troubled Hari Hara Veera Mallu (which he only partially directed).
Despite these failures, Nandamuri Balakrishna agreed to give Krish another opportunity purely because of their successful collaboration on Gautamiputra Satakarni.
However, after witnessing the debacle of Ghaati, Balakrishna has reportedly decided that Krish needs to take more time and come up with a stronger script.
Krish is currently developing the concept Balayya suggested for Aditya 999, the sequel to Aditya 369. But Balakrishna wants a foolproof script and is unsure if Krish, in his current form, can deliver a gripping screenplay.
Hence, he has advised Krish to rope in top writers and spend more time fine-tuning the script for this ambitious project.
In the meantime, Balakrishna will move ahead with director Gopichand Malineni’s period drama, which is set to go on floors very soon.
