Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati was initially scheduled for release in April 2025, then rescheduled to July 11. However, the release has now been postponed indefinitely due to delays in the computer graphics work.
Sources say Anushka was not satisfied with certain visuals and reportedly requested enhanced digital touch-ups for her face and physique.
In recent years, her films have required extensive visual corrections, which are time-consuming.
As a result, the final release date will only be decided after Anushka gives her approval for the visual effects and her on-screen appearance.
At the earliest, the film is now expected to release in September or October.
Directed by Krish, Ghaati is set against the backdrop of ganja smuggling in the Uttarandhra region, with Anushka playing the queenpin of the operation.
