Young hero Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming spy action thriller Agent directed by Surender Reddy is progressing with its shoot in Hyderabad.
Malayalam star Mammootty who is playing a mighty role too has joined the team in this ongoing schedule.
Meanwhile, the film’s release date has been announced. Agent will be arriving as Independence Day special on August 12th.
Since Monday happens to be Independence Day, the movie will have a long weekend of 4 days.
Another interesting aspect is Agent will have nationalistic elements; thus, Independence week is a perfect time for the release.
Coming to announcement poster, Akhil is shown as a wild one, as he is in the middle of a war.
He indeed looks wild, holding the machine gun in his hand. We can also observe few special officers in the poster.
Needless to say, the film will have some deadly action sequences performed by Akhil.
Sakshi Vaidya is playing Akhil’s love interest in the movie produced on grand scale by Anil Sunkara’s AK Entertainments.
Akhil is playing a never seen before intense and action-packed role in the movie that has cinematography and music departments handled by Rasool Ellore and Hip Hop Tamizha respectively.
