Akhil Akkineni and Surender Reddy’s spy action thriller Agent is arriving on 28th of this month. Producer Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments in his exclusive interview with us revealed it’s Akhil who suggested him to listen to Surender Reddy’s story.
“Vamsi narrated me the story. We had an open discussion on everything related to the movie. If you ask me why Akhil? We wanted someone who should look like Hrithik Roshan and also could take that hard work. Already, Akhil and Surender Reddy were interacting with each other. It’s not just about Akhil attaining a bulky figure. He pushed himself hard for the movie, particularly for the action part.”
The movie was shot in various locations in India and also abroad. “The shoot of the movie was started in April 2021. Hyderabad, Manali, Vizag, Mumbai, Kochi, Budapest and Mascot were the places we shot the movie.”
The producer reveals they will soon be releasing the main song from the movie. “Bheems scored this mass number and you need to watch it with Akhil’s electrifying dances.”
About the core point, Anil Sunkara informs, “The movie is about a spy game between 3 agents. You need to watch the movie to know who those three agents are.”
He affirms Akhil is the superstar in making. “I went to the set during the shoot of pre-climax. The way Akhil did, I felt we have a star. I felt the vibe. He performed intensely.”
Anil Sunkara is all praises for his vision and his imagination of presenting Akhil in the stylish best avatar. “Akhil will be seen shirtless in a couple of scenes and the interval sequence will be bang-on.”
The producer clarifies saying Surender Reddy is the working partner. “Akhil is also a working partner. Agent’s budget would have been 100 Cr, including remunerations.”
As informed by the producer, 2:30 is the final duration of the movie. “The first half will be around 1:15 hours and the second half will also have similar runtime.”
Anil Sunkara is confident enough that the trailer is going to set massive expectations for the movie. “We will have huge openings for the movie because of the trailer.”
He also revealed the next line-up of movies from 14 Reels Entertainment banner. “We have films with Sai Dharam Tej, Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Naresh. A movie with Ravi Teja is also in discussion stages.”
