Director Trivikram Srinivas is all set to collaborate with Victory Venkatesh for an upcoming project, and it’s almost confirmed.
A simple go-ahead from Allu Arjun is said to be enough for the official announcement.
While there may not be major hurdles in launching the film, this venture poses a significant challenge for Trivikram.
The Venkatesh-Trivikram combination has been long overdue. Their earlier collaborations, Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malliswari, were classic hits — though Trivikram contributed only as a writer at the time.
Since then, fans have eagerly awaited a project with Trivikram as the director. Now that it’s finally materializing, expectations are sky-high. Audiences are hoping for top-tier entertainment and a fresh storyline.
Adding to the pressure is the benchmark set by director Anil Ravipudi, who recently delivered a massive blockbuster with Venkatesh, grossing over ₹250–300 crore.
Trivikram’s fans believe his stature is higher, so expectations are elevated — he’s expected to surpass Ravipudi in comedy, storytelling, and box office returns. Anything less could impact his credibility.
Both Venkatesh and producer Suresh Babu are known to be meticulous and won’t proceed blindly. They are not the type to greenlight a film based on loosely strung scenes or fan service alone. A strong script is a must. Convincing the Daggubati duo is one challenge.
The second? Delivering a bigger hit than Sankranthiki Vasthunam, especially if this film is targeting a Sankranthi release.
Most importantly, if Trivikram falls short here, it could cast a shadow over his next big film with Allu Arjun — and that would be an even bigger concern.
