AS Prakash is one of the busiest art directors in Telugu and Sarkaru Vaari Paata starring Mahesh Babu and directed by Parasuram is his seventh movie with the superstar.
He reveals that SVP is a complete commercial entertainer laced with action and entertainment.
Prakash says Mahesh Babu used to be very jovial on sets. “I have been traveling with Mahesh Babu for a long time from Dookudu. This is our 7th film together. Two songs we shot completely on sets will be a feast on screen for sure. 8 major sets were erected for the movie."

The art director informs Sarkaru Vaari Paata is based on banking system. “3 different banks were built for the movie. While two banks are contemporary, the third one is of 50 years old.”
The film has few sequences in the backdrop of Vizag streets. “We initially planned to shoot these scenes in Goa. But due to practical issues, we changed it a colony in Hyderabad and modified it accordingly.”
AS Prakash says he gives his inputs to directors on budgets, as art directors have good idea on production cost of the movie.
He, however, says most of the Telugu stars have vast knowledge on all crafts. “It’s actually stars who recommend technicians for films they star in.”
The art director informs he got an opportunity to work for a high budget periodic film, but he had to opt out due to his busy schedules.
“My big wish for now is to do a socio fantasy film,” he discloses.
AS Prakash has some high-profile projects under pipeline. “I’m doing Chiranjeevi’s two films- Bholaa Shankar, Valther Veerayya, Balakrishna-Gopichand Malineni’s film, Venkatesh-Varun Tej’s F3 and I also have Mahesh Babu-Trivikram’s movie.”
