Director Venky Atluri is currently one of the hottest names in Tollywood.
After moving away from routine love stories, he delivered solid hits with Sir and Lucky Baskhar, strengthening his market value.
He is now busy with Son of Viswanatham starring Tamil superstar Suriya. Even before wrapping this project, several producers are reportedly eager to lock him for their next films.
Nani–Venky Combo Next?
Buzz in film circles suggests that Venky’s next project could be with Natural Star Nani.
Nani is currently working on Paradise, which has been facing delays. After that, he has a film lined up with OG director Sujeeth.
The plan is to begin the Sujeeth project in April in London and wrap up major portions by June.
If that schedule works out, Venky Atluri’s film with Nani could also begin within this year itself. That would help Nani make up for the time lost due to the prolonged delays of Paradise.
Busy Line-Up Ahead
As things stand, Nani may have one or two releases this year and is almost certain to deliver two films next year.
If the Venky–Nani combo is officially confirmed, it could turn out to be one of the most exciting collaborations in Tollywood.
