Tollywood director Surender Reddy couldn’t get the dates of any big star as everyone is busy with their prior commitments.
He waited long enough and decided to make a movie with Akkineni Akhil.
However, producers weren’t keen on bankrolling the project given Akhil’s poor track record and Surender’s hefty paycheck.
Finally, Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments agreed to bankroll the Surender-Akhil project but on a condition.
Surender will only get a nominal amount as his remuneration and gets a decent share in the profits earned.
This brings down the estimated budget of the film so much that it wouldn’t be a burden on the producer.
Surender is also credited as one of the producers of this film. He will be directing one of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movies but it will take some time to start rolling.
Surender will start Akhil’s movie once the actor is done with his current movie Most Eligible Bachelor.
