This is an interesting gossip that is making rounds in film circles lately. One of the most awaited Telugu films that is targeting pan India market has run into a financial mess due to the covid crisis.
The director’s previous film was a super hit and he roped in one of the rising actors as the lead for this pan india film.
Everything was going smooth until the covid struck. The film was supposed to release in June, but it is still stuck at the same point where it was halted when the government imposed lockdown.
All other movies have already resumed the shoot, but this film is still in the waiting as the funds need to be released from the Bollywood production company.
Bollywood producers are resuming work on priority basis and this film seems to be not in top of their list. Also, it needs to be shot in foreign locales, which is not ideal for shooting as of now.
The lead actor is looking for other options as he doesn’t want to sit idle. He is reportedly in talks with a couple of big directors of Telugu Cinema industry.
