The Telugu film industry has many pseudo-intellectuals. Many of them try to pose as intellectuals to create a false public persona while the real capacity is entirely different. If one can get the chance to talk to them, one would gauge their hollow understanding of politics and other real-life matters.
The same is the case with two flop directors who give an impression to their lakhs of followers on social media. One is a failed director and also delivered a series of flops as a writer. The other director delivered a huge hit long back but has been struggling since then.
These so-called "intellectual directors" had a public discussion on Twitter talking about Andhra Pradesh politics. Of course, they have not mentioned YS Jagan’s government or Andhra Pradesh directly, but it was all about the current ongoing agitation in the state. Apparently, the failed writer who made the first comment about the ‘current politics’ has deleted it. But the other director went on discussing with him.
Their chat went on for close to an hour.
Now, the YSRCP social media is digging out their personal history. They point out that one director faced a slap from a heroine for his indecent behavior. The other writer is reportedly having extramarital affair with an actress. And these ‘so-called’ intellectuals whose party affinities are known to all and sundry talk as if they are neutral political pundits.
The YSRCP social media has already begun a campaign on these two celebrities. On the other hand, some of their followers also suggested they make movies instead of wasting time on topics they don’t have expertise in.
