Akkineni Akhil has pinned a lot of hopes on Most Eligible Bachelor directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar.
The film is bankrolled by GA2 Pictures and has Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The film was scheduled for Sankranthi release, but looks like it is out of the race now.
All the Sankranthi releases have already locked the release date and Akkineni fans are left wondering why Most Eligible Bachelor has been pulled out.
If the buzz is to be believed, changes are being made to the second half as they realized its screenplay is similar to a movie produced by Dil Raju with one of the senior actors.
Hence, according to the buzz, they are making changes to the script, which is why the film is pulled out of the Sankranthi race. It may release in March or April as per industry reports.
Akhil is yet to score a hit at the box office and he is having high hopes on MEB that is produced by GA2 Pictures, which is on a roll with a string of box office hits.
