Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and Bollywood’s reigning queen Deepika Padukone was roped in for Prabhas’s sci-fi thriller to be directed by Nag Ashwin.
Although Ashwin Dutt really achieved a casting coup, it is also costing him dearly.
GreatAndhra already reported that Deepika is taking home nearly Rs 20 crore as remuneration for this film.
If Bollywood media reports are to be believed, Amitabh Bachchan is also getting hefty money for this project. He will also be paid Rs 21 crore remuneration for his role.
The producers had agreed to pay him such big money as he brings great value to the casting.
At this rate, Producer Ashwini Dutt will have to shell more than Rs 200 crore into the remunerations alone.
The untitled film will hit the floors next year.
