As announced by the makers, Uppena has made a strong business at box office on day one.
"Uppena has collected 9.3 Cr in AP and Telangana, while worldwide total on first day is 10 cr +," declared the makers.
Going by the figures, it is a highest grosser for a debut hero film.
Uppena marked the debut of Vaishnav Tej as hero, Krithi Shetty as heroine and Buchi Babu Sana as director.
As per trade reports, the film made under Mythri Movie Makers is steady on day two.
