Agnyaathavaasi: Loses will be huge in Nizam and Ceded

Day one is complete. As expected “Agnyaathavaasi” took flying start at the box-office on first day. However, the film’s box-office storm subsided with bad talk from premiere shows in Andhra Pradesh and in USA.

Before the release, trade pundits were expecting that the film would break “Baahubali 2” record in Nizam area by collecting more than Rs 9 Cr on day 1. However, the bad talk from Andhra midnight shows has affected the collections badly.

The first and second shows saw a huge drop on the first day itself. Hence, the film has just collected mere Rs 5.50 Cr share (estimates) which is second highest amount in Nizam after “Baahubali 2”. But this amount is almost half than the expected.

Dil Raju bought the movie for whopping Rs 27.5 Cr (minus taxes) He has uphill task to recover the amount. He will be ending up in huge losses. All the profits he saw in recent his production “MCA” will be wiped off from this.

The Ceded area also under performed on the first day than what was expected. The early estimate is that it has collected about Rs 3.40 Cr. The film was bought for Rs 16 Cr.

All in all the losses will be high in these two areas.
