Dr. YSR's 62nd birthday celebrations (Jayanthi) in grand style on july 9th in Orlando, Florida by NRI of Andhra Pradesh
Great Chief Minister and Friend of the Poor – Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s fans from all over Florida state gathered in at Econo Hotel and Conference hall in, Orlando, Florida. Program started with welcome speech by Dr.Mohan Reddy Konda, who shared his memories with Dr.YSR.
Dr.YSR's sister Mrs.Vimala Reddy gaaru gave a message to the participants over teleconference. The crowds cheered and the hall resounded with shouts of " YSR AMAR HI !!" and she spoke about , the impact Dr.YSR made on the lives of poor people with his multi- faceted welfare programs.
Former TTD Chairman, Bhoomana Karunakar Reddy joined the teleconference and he added that, "Andhra Pradesh has made big strides in areas of Sustainable Agriculture, Food security, Access to credit and other social aspects during his tenure as chief minister, remembered that, YSR was the champion of social welfare schemes".
The photo of Dr.YSR was garlanded by Dr.Vasudeva Reddy and Ramchander Reddy Akkavaram everybody offered roses, other fragrant flowers, a minute of silence to pay tributes to the departed soul of great leader Dr.YSR.
A video program was showed to highlight the everlasting political and personal memories of Dr.YSR by Raghunath Reddy Padi, Anil Bandaram, Sridhar Vallampatla, Veera Reddy, Mr.Kamalakar Reddy, and Ram Kukkadam from Tampa, Florida.
Dr.Srinivas Dontineni, Ramachandra reddy Akkavaram, Parandama Reddy ,Dr..Kishore, Dr. Murthy Lagudu, Mrs.Deepa Rukala, Mrs.Radhi Dontineni, Mrs. Vijaya Lagudu, Mrs.Aupama Nandivadana, Mr.Goutham, Venkat Puskur and Dr.Sabapathy were shared the memories with Dr.YSR.
Organizers cut the cake and that they are leaving with fond memories and pledged to do something to help people in need, to continue Dr.YSR's legacy who strongly advocated and practiced "Sarvo Jano Sukhino Bhavanthu".
Chandu Talla offered vote of thanks where he thanked all the organizers and participants.
