Who Can Be Best President Of India?

The president of India holds a rather powerful position in our democratic system. Of course, most of the times the head of the national defense gets cornered by the crooked politicians of our nation but still there is some regard for this position. Moreover, some of the most crucial decisions are taken by the President which makes it important for our system to choose the right person. Now, the season has begun to choose the new president for our country and who can be the nominees.

The current President Pratibha Patil has not been that effective except for going to countless foreign trips along with her family and costing the public few hundreds of crores. But who can be the right person to replace her. On one hand, Ansari is being recommended by the regular politicians like Lalu Prasad and Mamata Banerjee. But the country needs a president who has a connect with the people and not just sit quietly in the office attending government related events.

That happened during the tenure of Abdul Kalam. The scientist cum amazing mathematician developed a strong bond with the youngsters and his motivational seminars, statements created a new revolution during his time. So, Kalam still stands as the first choice for many owing to his progressive thinking and his confidence on the future generations of our country. Kalam has been the best example for inspiration and his analytical thinking and insight into situations has been fabulous.

The other hot contender for this should be Ratan Tata. This successful industrialist has done enough to take India on a very large canvas of the global perspective. His name is a household term in many middle class societies of our country and the cost to quality products his companies have generated need no introduction. It is not just about his style or elegance but it is also the strength of integrity and character the Tatas has always shown which is much needed to hold the post of a president.

Most importantly, a president of this nation needs to be a person with energy in both physical and mental forms. If it is considered as a post of retreat after working hard for many years then keeping the post vacant makes more sense. Let us hope the government makes a wise and sensible decision on this one.
