With global recession and huge economic crisis engulfing the powerful nation, the US government has now begun measures to flush out immigrants and create space and opportunities for the locals.
As part of that, the visa tensions for Indians are on the rise. If someone comes from the US then it is not sure if he/she can get a visa renewal. Apparently, America is discouraging those who are planning to settle. Reports say that the current H-1B tenure is not being extended so that people return to India.
The consulate agents in Hyderabad and Bangalore say “There are no more renewals happening for majority of the people. If they enter into a particular stage in Green Card, then no problem, but if that doesn’t happen then they have to return to India and get renewal. But they are facing trouble in US consulate here.”
