Supporting Chandra Babu Naidu fight against Maharastra Govt to Stop Babli project construction
New Jersey Telugu Desam Party Fans/supporters gathered on Tuesday July 20th, 2010; expressed their support to Mr. Chandra babu Naidu who has been actively fighting to stop illegally and un authorized construction of babli project by maharastra state govt and requesting Central Govt to protect Andhra Pradesh rights it has as per Bachawat water tribunal.
Jithendr Atluri and Venkat garikapati who organized this event and Gopal Vemuri, Ram Kommineni, Krishna inturi and several others spoke on this occasion and demanded all other political parties especially Congress and TRS to join Mr. Chandra babu to protect rights of Andhra Pradesh immediately. They requested all MLA and especially MP to unite together regardless of their parties and fight for cause. Every gathered collectively demanded Maharastra State Govt and Central Govt should apologize and authorize chandrababu to visit Babli project.
Jithedra Atluri said Maharastra state govt acts on Chandra Babu and other Telugudesam party MLA are brutal and insanity. He requested A. P State Govt to get involved and do needful. During his speech he mentioned it’s every telugu person’s primary responsibility regardless of political parties to protect the pride of Telugu people. Gopal Vemuri said he is puzzled with irresponsible acts of honorable irrigation minster Mr. Ponnala who is playing cricket with kids during the time state opposition leaders fight to protect Andra Pradesh rights for water. He requested him to act more responsible and support TDP, also requested all political parties regardless region to make collect effort to protect Andhra Pradesh water rights, otherwise people of Andhra Pradesh will not spare them.
