Hyderabad: After a work out at a gymnasium, a 26-yearold software engineer died under mysterious circumstances at Jubilee Hills on Tuesday.
The victim, B Raju, of Karimnagar was working as a software engineer in a private firm.
According to Jubilee Hills police, Raju went to gymnasium at about 7.30 am and after a rigorous workout, returned to his flat after an hour. After reaching home, Raju complained of severe back pain and one of his roommates gave him a pain killer.
“After consuming the capsule, Raju started vomiting. After a while, he suddenly fell unconscious. His roommates immediately rushed Raju to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead,” Jubilee Hills SI K Saidulu said.
Police suspect that Raju may have died either due to cardiac arrest or due to the drug reaction. “The cause of death will be known after the post-mortem,” the SI said.
