TEA -Telugu Entrepreneurs Association is conducting 1st youth entrepreneurs workshop in the spirit of fostering entrepreneurship among youth. This event is a six weeks every Sunday 2:0 to 4:0 pm at University of Texas, Dallas Campus.
Students are grouped into four and each group has to come up with a business idea and prepare a business plan for that idea as a team.
The last session is pitch their idea to panel of judges who in turn give their feedback on their business idea. There will be first, second, third prices and certificate for every participant.
In each session there will be 1/2 hour class room teaching on various subjects and another 1/2 hour is a interactive session with successful entrepreneurs. Rest of the hour out of two hours students work on their business idea.
Mentors will be assigned for each group. This is a huge value based event for our youth. Two major benefits come out of this exercise one is that we are putting a seed in our young minds how to become an entrepreneur. Another major benefit is that it helps the students in their college applications.
Final session of the program will be pitch your business idea to panel of judges. We also inviting all high net worth individuals from the Telugu and Indian Community as an opportunity for them to participate to invest after their own due diligence in early stage ideas.
We also have a panel discussion with the judges to know do’s and don'ts of entrepreneurship as part of fostering entrepreneurship among Telugu people.
We will have 15 great business ideas that are going to be presented.
