TANA's alternative ways to UNV students

“We have contacted the University of Southern Mississippi (USM) administration and requested them to allow University of Northern Virginia (UNV) if they wanted to get transferred to USM. USM authorities have responded very positively and willing to help in transferring eligible students without compromising the quality of the education or the guidelines of the admission process”. Prasad Thotakura, TANA President, said.

Thotakura further stated that students from India in general and Andhra Pradesh in particular must do their own research about US Universities and be very careful in selecting the right accredited Universities before they enroll. They must follow the rules and regulations of such Educational Institutions and there are no short cuts in getting the quality education except attending classes regularly and working hard.

The University of Southern Mississippi, a 100 year old University, offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Computer Science, Arts & Letters, Business, Education & Psychology, Health and Science & Technology.

A dual campus university, USM serves students on campuses in Hattiesburg and Long Beach in addition to six teaching and research sites in Mississippi State.

USM has a diverse student body of approximately 17,000 students, with students from all over USA and 70 foreign countries. For more info about USM, access http://www.usm.edu/.

If any UNV student wants to get transferred to USM may contact our “TANA NRI-Student Services Committee” to know the admission process and more details:
