From the recent happenings it is pretty much evident that high command is in no mood to entertain Jagan. At the same time, in a way to retain him, signals are being sent through VH, NJR and KK that there is no future for him if he leaves Congress. Mean while Jagan is waiting till July 8th anticipating that High command will approve his condolence tour. But the so called “seniors” will not let it happen by giving false reports to high command. Added to that Yellow media is playing its role efficiently to down play Jagan as they clearly know (in fact better than high command) that he is the only leader in congress who has strong appeal among masses & Lone survivor for congress and if they malign him it will pave the way for TDP to come to power in 2014.
Sonia thinks that people of Andhra still vote for congress just on the image of Indira, Rajiv, Rahul and her. In 2009 elections YSR let her to be under that impression and won with thumping majority with his own image and populist schemes. Every andhraite, even the so called seniors know this fact. As YSR didn’t allow them to wag their tail, they used to lick the feet of Delhi bosses to get some favors and in turn project Sonia as the survivor for congress. But, only after the death of YSR she came to know about his popularity and his role in bringing back the congress to power. Then she firmly decided not to give any room to let YSR family consolidate their image in Andhra. As a result of it, with their strong and good old policy of “DIVIDE AND RULE” they brought telangana movement into picture.
Every person in telangana region knows that it is not the true movement raised from the people but a conspiracy hatched by Congress with KCR to nullify the impact of YSR and extend its own influence. This has become a boon for the politically unemployed and seniors to have their say, which is not all constructive but only fulfilling their selfish motives if a separate state is carved out. All these misdeeds are being taken place because elections are no way nearby.
Already congress lost its ground in Coastal andhra and Rayalaseema regions. By 2014, if the high command feels that they are not going to win in these regions they simple announce the formation of telangana before elections and consolidate their base in Telangana region by claiming the credit in its formation at the cost of Telugu people’s Self-Respect. At this juncture, Jagan decided to tour Warangal area ignoring the diktat of high command. Sensing that the emotions of people will get diluted and united Andhra stand will get revived on account of the tour, which is not desired by the high command as well as TRS as it questions their survival, the tour was successfully stalled. If Rahul Gandhi can tour Mumbai to promote the concept of National Integration, without any hitches by getting proper police protection why can’t Jagan? Doesn’t he have any right like Rahul Gandhi to promote integration among andhraites?
Jagan repeatedly said that it was not political tour but a personal one. In spite of that AP government deliberately made his tour a fiasco. When Maharashtra local congress government arrested MNS Chief Raj to avoid any untoward incidents at Mumbai, why can’t our government can do it to protect Jagan and the public representatives like Konda Surekha etc were present there? This injustice meted out to Jagan is not only humiliating to him but also to every Andhraite. The pride of Telugu people suffered a severe blow.
To pacify the people of other regions and to put a checkmate to Jagan congress has embraced Chiranjeevi who is singing united Andhra song. But everybody in Andhra except high command thinks that Chiranjeevi is in no way a match to Jagan. With this move congress again made clear that they are not ready to listen to Jagan. Hence it is foolish on his part to think that high command will embrace him. Once his supporters, are also not coming out in open to support him fearing disciplinary action from high command which is making him aloof. So what are the ways left out for him?
1) Wait till the high command approves him which (may) take ages, as the seniors will not let it happen so easily.
Leave alone seniors. Congress has become a sinking SHIP in AP (in all 3 regions). With the existing state of affairs at the state as well as centre no one will vote for the congress in 2014 elections, as it lost its credibility among Andhra voters. If he still sticks there, his future becomes bleak and has to sit in opposition tolerating the internal bickering for unknown period of time, even if he is made CM a year before elections. Mean while every latch ditch effort is made to crush both from inside as well as outside as he poses a big challenge to congress as well as TDP leaders. That’s why everyone is after him.
2) Start his own outfit
The best possible move is to start his own outfit. Slowly, political vaccum is developing in the state. Chiru aligning with congress, poor government administration and policies, waning image of Chandra Babu and weak opposition, all these moves are causing a sort of disgruntlement among the people. If jagan starts his own party with two clear motives
- Continue his father’s pet schemes and Finish Jalayagnam
- Promote the essence of “United Andhra” by singing “Telugu jaathi Manadi” song as did by NTR when he launched TDP with the sole aim of sustaining Telugu people’s pride.
These two agendas can bring him to power. The people who are his silent supporters and dilly-dallying between Jagan and High command can come out and openly support him. This option looks a possible alternative because
The congress has only 10 additional seats (157=147+10) to form a government in AP. If he can stage a revolt with his supporters (at least 30-40 MLAs he should have) and dethrone the existing government, it will eventually leads to by-polls. As the people are fed up with TDP and Congress his new outfit will definitely have an edge in coming out victorious and can be a power centre from now onwards.
Waiting till 2014 is idiotic and he needs to wait for a longer time to get to power, if not now. But congress and Yellow media along with TDP will not let it happen that easily. In reality, their efforts will garner him more votes out of sympathy as happened with the case of Yediyurappa in Karnataka. And Gali Brothers are there to help him. In this process high command will resort to take any measure to stop jagan.
They may take the support of MIM as PRP is already with them to suppress the revolt. Here jagan should use his clout to influence MIM. If MIM is not with him, he should take the advantage of the internal quarrel in PRP and get rebels to his side. First of all he should keep atleast 40 MLAs along with him, who doesn’t succumb to the wily tactics of congress. He should clearly motivate them that once if they come to power there is a long way to go and falling prey to short term benefits will not be of any use to them in long run.
If congress imposes governer’s rule and delays by-elections to mollify the emotional impact, he should do enough propaganda that congress is trying to suppress telugu’s pride and everyone should fight it collectively as it is a serious matter of self identity and respect. This tempo should be maintained till the by-elections are organized. And this is the right time for him to decide who is for and who is against to him.
Governments at centre are not realizing the importance of Andhra Pradesh in spite of giving more MPs. Instead they humiliate by not giving proper respect first and take us for granted. Getting Ministries (Cabinet not state) and budget allocations (Railway as well as General) are far from reality. Bootlicking attitude of seniors is also cause to it. They don’t even hesitate to divide AP for their political gains. It is we telugu people are getting deceived and suppressed by the dirty politics of Congress, KCR and Chandrababu. Only 3 people can be called strong and proper Andhraites. Tanguturi garu, NTR and YSR. These 3 never hesitated to dare and question the authority of Delhi people on us. And one more person to cheer about is Mr. P.V. Narasimha Rao, the pioneer of reforms in India. It is he brought a change in Indian economy by deploying him in his cabinet. But Sonia wants that credit to go to Rajiv. That’s why everyone in congress were made to forget him. Even his last rituals were performed at Andhra but not delhi that too in a pathetic manner. Where were the so called telanganites like KCR, kondandaram and seniors of congress had gone? If they have true focus towards telangana development they should commemorate him first. But those idiots are just power mongers and don’t have any motive towards development. They conveniently forgot him to please high command.
We andhraites are always being victimized to the use and throw policy of Congress & Chandra babu. There should be an end to it. Congress should be swept away from AP. We have to dictate the delhi not they command us (as it happens in neighboring Tamilnadu). Then only we can lift our head high and have a say.
Now jagan is the only hope to revive the lost telugu pride and he is gutsy to question the authority of Delhi. Hope god will let Telugus to retain their glory through Jagan by making his party successful, if he starts any.
