Sujana Chowdary’s felicitation in Edison, New Jersey

New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania Telugu Community gave a warm welcome and hosted a special luncheon party in honor of Mr.Yalamanchali Satyanaryana Chowdary (Sujana Chowdary) MP Rajyasabha on 4th Sep 2010 at Royal Albert Palace, Edision, New Jersey. This event is organized by Jithendra Atluri (Horizon Computer services) & Venkat Garikapati, which was held from 12:00 PM to 4PM and attended by more than 400 people. New Jersey Assemblyman Upendra Chivukula chaired the event. Mr. Damu Gedela welcomed the guests and the audience. During the welcome speech, he provided a glimpse of Sri Sujana Chowdary in politics. Mr Radhakrishna Nallamala made a feisty speech about the formation of Telugu Desam party and remembered achievements of Telugu Desam founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.

In his speech, Mr. Sujana Chowdary remembered the signification of Telugu Desam Party Formation and briefed achievements of Telugu Desam Party in the past 27 years under NTR and Chandrababu Naidu’s leadership.  Mr. Sujana Chowdary urged the NRIs to extend their support and campaign making good use of Information Technology through phones and Internet to pass on the good words about Telugu Desam’s committed service to all sections of the people. He also invited NRI’s to invest in Andhra Pradesh and actively participate in the India’s growth, assuring them that the Indian economy is poised to grow despite global economic crisis.

The Live musical Concert by singers Anita Krishna & Baba drew huge response from the crowd. Also the kids from local dance school enthralled the audience with their amazing performances. Raja Gunti danced for NTR songs.

Mr. Sujana Chowdary was felicitated with Shawl and memento by Jithendra Atluri and Venkat Garikapati.

Around 400 Telugu Desam Party fans, sympathizers and activists attended the event and made it a grand success. Prominent Telugu community members Ramana Ganne, Brahmaji Valiveti, Sailaja Adluru, Seshu Babu Veeramachineni,Vimal Kavuru, Harnath Doddapaneni, Kotapati Sambaiah, Mahendar Musuku, Mohana Krishna Mannava, Ravi Potluri, Sreedhar Appasani, KP Chowdary, Rayani Chandu, Sudhir Pakalapati, Srinivas Reddy, Punnam Manthena, Ranadheer Thakur,Narender Reddy Yasa, Lakshmi Devineni etc attended the event.

Program finished with Indian National anthem "Janaganamana" song.
