Srinivas Kalyanam being held at Sri Guruvaayoorappan Temple (Sri Krishnaji Mandir) premises on May 1st 2010.
Sri Guruvaayoorappan Temple (Sri Krishnaji Mandir) is pleased to hold the Srinivasa Kalyanam to be conducted by TTD at its premises. The temple is based in Morganville in Central Jersey and is known for its rich history.
The United States of America is a dream land for many of the Indians. Many of the Hindus from India and other parts of world who settled in USA and Canada are very religious. They have prayed to Lord Venkateswara countless times in the last couple of years ever since the America was struck by the recession. Perumal Srinivasa has heard to our requests and granted His Darshan in USA. A team consisting of Archakas, Veda Pandits, officials, artists from TTD, its Chairman, the Executive Officer and senior officials will be coming from Tirumala to perform the Kalyanam in USA.
Lord Venketeswara along with Sreedevi and Bhudevi will be arriving at Guruvayurappan Temple. Morganville, New Jersey in this month. Several thousand devotees from USA will receive Lord Venkateswara with all honors and respect . Over 200 volunteers will prepare the venue for Swamy vari and Amma vari Kalyanam. The pandits and brahmins will chant Vedic mantras to prepare the Venue for all the religious ceremonies that begin at 6:00 AM on May 1, 2010. These pujas and Kalyanam are performed in accordance to exact religious script, as the procedures and manthras performed in Tirumala.
A similarly grand function will be performed in the Sunnyvale temple at California on May 9, 2010.
This is a First ever event where in Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams agreed to perform Kalyanam and other Sevas in USA under their supervision. An exclusive portal www.srinivasakalyanam.org is made and will be the main operating tool for promotion, online donations, registrations etc.
