Samalkot (Kumararamam), Palakollu (Ksheeraramam), Daksharam (Bheemaramam), Bheemavaram (Somaramam) and Amaravathi (amararamam) are called pancharamams.
It is believed that if these holy shrines are visited between the sunrise and sunset in a single day, the people would get everlasting peace. Although it is a bit easy in off-season, it proves very difficult to complete all these visits in single day during festive seasons. That too, the days like Shiva Rathri and Karteeka Pournami would see these temples in huge crowds. Despite, Srija and Sirish are planning to visit these temples on the coming Kartika Pournami as per grapevine. Unless there's support from endowments department of AP these visits are not possible to complete in single day amidst crowds.
