To those who think that Ramayana was just an epic and are in a dilemma whether it happened for real or not, here is something that will change their mind. The government of Sri Lanka has come up with a new initiative which is not only benefiting their tourism but also throwing light on the essence of Ramayana and the Hindu Mythology.
Recently, few stills have been making rounds and these are the pictures containing some of the places that have a vital connection to the epic. Places such as the cave of Sugreeva, the Ashok Vatika where Ravana held Sita as captive, the Sanjeevini holy mountain etc still exist which are living examples to show Ramayana happened for real.
As it is, the Ramasethu across the Indian Ocean stands as a witness to Ramayana but these latest discoveries in Sri Lanka is reiterating the belief about the great epic. Researchers, tourists, scientists and many others are now flocking to these sites for their own reasons but the pictures are putting everyone in awe.
