Though the new talk has risen that the recession effect has slowly begun to come down and the companies are taking a softer stand, it appears that the IT professionals are still having their own nightmares on the pay packets and pink slips.
It is now being said that many software engineers have decided to go for SBH (single bed room houses) since they are unable to cope up with the rents. Despite the fact that the rents have come down from an exorbitant 35-40k to a meager 12-15 k, many say that it is not affordable by them.
The cause for this is said to be the salary cuts they had recently and the increasing prices in commodities. The IT folks are saying that even if they are able to save some money out of the rents by going for a single bed room, they could use the money for a better purpose.
