The Silicon Andhra 2nd International Kuchipudi Natya Sammelan is happening in December and this time, Smt Pratibha Patil has been invited as the chief guest. A statement to this effect was given by Kuchibhotla Anand, Chairman, Silicon Andhra. This is going to be a historic event again as the Chairman has taken up another initiative.
The event will have 5 generations of Kuchipudi artists, youth representatives and a Guinness record will be created as nearly 5000 young Kuchipudi dancers would be displaying their talent. A slogan ‘Yuvatha Kuchipudi Bhavitha’ will be used and that too on the world stage. Since the event is so special, Anand mentioned that the president of India was invited by the group of Purandeshwari, Padmabhushan Sri Raja Reddy, Industrialist Erramilli Venkatrao.
It is heard that the president has hailed the initiatives of Kuchibhotla Anand after going through the events such as the one in Parade Grounds which was a Guinness record. The president also appreciated that the Telugu culture is historic and the traditions and arts must be protected. She has also appreciated the works of Silicon Andhra in this process.
