It has become a common feature to notice that many big and corporate firms have been announcing pay-cuts and have been implementing cost cutting measures. While many have been fuming over such decisions, there seems to be a deeper meaning behind all this.
It is said that when a company announces about 30% of pay cuts in the entire organization, that way they are able to save about twenty thousand jobs which means that about twenty thousand individuals and families depending on them are not falling onto the roads.
While this math may not have got into the heads of those who were upset about the pay-cuts, such measures are being used for some better reasons. However, there are those firms that are said to be using this as a tool and are ending up taking advantage of the situation by slashing the pays with this pretext.
