After successful execution of Srinivasa Kalyanam jointly with Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam (TTD) in New Jersey on 1 May 2010 and in San Jose on 9 May 2010, Telugu Times, the First and Only Global Telugu Newspaper published from New Jersey/ San Jose since Feb 2004 has come another unique and most required event schedule for the NRI Telugu community in USA. This time, Telugu Times has tied up with Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Devastanam, Annavaram and propose to conduct Sri Satyanarayana Vrata Mahostavams in USA in October- November 2010 in grand and most authentic manner.
Speaking on this, Sri KV Ramanachari, IAS, Principal Secretary, Revenue (Endowments), Govt of AP said “ Govt has given orders giving permission to the proposal of Annavram Devastanam & Telugu Times to jointly conduct Sayanarayana Vrata Mahostavam in USA. The organizers are procuring a set of Idols of Lord Satyanarayana Swamy and His Consort Rama Devi and taking Archakas who conduct Vratams at Annavaram Devastanam for USA visit. More over, the entire event schedule is being done in various temples in USA”.
Mr Ramachandra Mohan, Executive Officer, Satyanarayana Swamy Devastanam said “ this proposed USA trip would not only promote Hindu Dharma at large and the significance of Satyanarayana Swamy and the Vratam in USA, but also connect the Devastanam to the NRI Community. The archakas going from the Devastanam would present the Vratam in most authentic manner”.
