It sounds perverted but everybody feels that it's fair once witnessing the burial grounds in Rajahmundry. Rotary Club in association with Rajahmundry Corporation has developed both the burial grounds in Rajahmundry in the standards of Mysore Brindavan Gardens.
One hardly feels the atmosphere of graveyard in that place and even families including children and ladies walk though the fragrant avenue plantations in that area enjoying cool breeze from the bank of River Godavari and watching the aesthetic sculptures of Lord Shiva, who abodes in 'smashan' as per Hindu belief. People hardly feel the grief and fear although the bodies burn at about 100 feet away from them. The theory of life and death will be understood only in beauty, fragrance and serenity for the people who walk there.
There has been increasing number of film shootings in and around River Godavari but none touched this aesthetic place so far. It is said that sentiment stopped many directors to exploit the beauty of that burial ground. Now a few directors believe that the cremation grounds of Rajahmundry are worth enough to shoot even the romantic duets.
Let us see who breaks the shell and attempts that historical thing.
