Ms. Roja party spokesperson for YSRCP attended as the Chief Guest as part of the meeting held by Dallas chapter NRI working committee. There were over 150 people who attended the meeting as Ms. Roja interacted with NRI party members of YSRCP. The meeting began with Mr. Mahesh Adibhatla YSRCP NRI committee member introducing Ms. Roja to the audience. He recalled that our great leader late YSR always had special love towards Dallas and declared "How Kadapa is to A.P, Dallas is to USA" which was followed by thunderous applause, he reminded that YSR affection reflected the way he rendered a special message post 2009 election to Dallas.
Mr. Raman Reddy in his speech reminded that telugu NRI's and YSRCP supporters should work everything in their capacity to ensure the victory for all 18 + 1 seats in the ensuing elections. He reminded the people of Andhra Pradesh to act wise and choose between leaders working for self interests vs. leaders working for people also mentioned Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy is the future of Andhra Pradesh and he alone can bring back the legacy of late. Ms. Roja in her speech outlined the various reasons of how she got attracted towards YSRCP. She affirmed YSRCP is the only party in good faith that is working to ensure common man's interests are protected, while other parties are facing identity crisis. Her speech throughout was captivating the hearts of the people and an enthusiastic crowd was constantly cheering her. She had special mention about Ms. Vijaylakshmi honorary president of YSRCP and Ms. Konda Surekha for their sacrifice to the society in their own might, sacrificing family members and positions. She requested that NRI's should play a pivotal role in the upcoming elections and to see that all the candidates from YSRCP win and repeat Kadappah and Kovvur result. There was a question and answer session that followed later, Ms. Roja answered all with her charming smile and witty remarks every now and then!
Mr. Gopi Chilakuru who was a long time resident of Dallas and later moved to Nellore spoke on the occasion. He reposed confidence that YSRCP will repeat the Kovvur election feat in all the constituencies and claimed YSRCP will form the government in 2014.
Mr. Prasad Mallu YSRCP NRI committee member thanked Ms. Roja for taking time from her busy schedule and addressing the Dallas crowd. He mentioned YSRCP is standing by principles that welfare the common man. Mr. Prasad Mallu said Telugu people are watching the political situation in Andhra Pradesh and the witch hunting being done on Y.S. Jagan, and requested people to vote with conscience. He requested all NRI YSR fans to send SMSes and make phone calls to the voters of the 18+1 constituencies to ensure the victory of YSR CP with thumping majority.
