There was a time when only the farmers in Andhra Pradesh were borne to commit suicide for various reasons but now it appears that they might have some company. It is being said that the current situation of the realtors is also pathetic and they are likely to be driven to such extreme measures.
In a way, atleast few sections in the farmers community are happy after selling their lands for crores of rupees but it is the realtors who are facing the heat right now. There is no saleability of the land and funds are unavailable to clear the loans.
The market experts say that if the same situation continues then the day is not far when the realtors will resort to taking pesticides. With the Telangana issue hovering around, things have become even more difficult for the realtors and it is like the final nail on their head. Sad but true..
