With the Vigilance department coming down heavily on the records of the Raheja IT Park, some dark secrets are being revealed.
Inside reports say that Raheja group from Mumbai has duped the government of a whopping Rs 500 crores and has taken a land of 110 acres without a single penny. Apparently, they promised jobs for 27,500 people and till date, the count has not gone beyond 100. And there is another angle to it.
The APIIC is a joint partner in this and had a 11% stake but thanks to a mysterious force, an outstanding of Rs 2.5 crores was not paid to Raheja and today, the stake of APIIC is just 1%. Well, as disgusting as it may seem, our leaders have ensured that at a cost of saving Rs 2.5 crores, they have ended up blowing a hole of Rs 500 crores and more.
