Despite the looming crisis of recession and cash crunch everywhere, the story seems something else here.
There is news that the coastal area in East Godavari has got agricultural lands and these are now being used for – nurseries apart from the regular crops. Places like Vemagiri are said to be the prime areas for such nurseries and here is the best part. It is said that the average price per acre in these areas is close to a whopping two crores.
So there are quite a few individuals on that sector who are proud owners of properties valuing upto hundreds of crores. There was a famous Telugu adage that said anyone who is born in Konaseema is a born crorepati, perhaps this is another region where the adage holds good too.
