Our Cricketers Worried About Chinese Income?

Whenever the Indian team wins, the enthusiastic youth make bike rallies on the roads holding national flag and shouting "bolo Bharatmatha ki jai".

But are our cricketrs emotionally patriotic? Or they give more importance to their professional monies?

Here is the story..

The Indian cricket board and cricketers are largely an apolitical bunch, so keeping mum on the Galwan valley conflict is hardly notable. But this doesn’t mean they have been untouched by the anti-China mood sweeping the nation.

While condolences have been duly offered on the loss of jawans’ lives, the cricket body is especially worried that a Chinese company is the title sponsor of the IPL.

Of course, any comment against Chinese companies would land them in contractual trouble, but that isn’t all. They can hardly afford to lose the deal and look for a replacement at the time of a global economic crisis.

Moreover, BCCI bosses Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah could well be worried as most of their sponsors are either Chinese companies or are backed by Chinese investors.
