They have done it again. We just got an email from the TANA Secretary that Mr.Prabhakar Chowdary Kakarala is reinstated as TANA President effective immediately.
The Governing Body and Mr.Prabhakar Chowdary Kakarala now claim and I quote “We are glad that we are able to reconcile our differences without compromising our values.”
What a change. Suddenly each party after accusing each other of illegal things and even going to court with their allegations have figured out that all of these people in the Governing Body including the now reinstated President have done nothing wrong.
Now what are the differences that you have reconciled? What are the settlements that you made? I guess you are right when you say “without compromising our values”, because your values seem questionable and self centered.
As always the case, the Governing Body, which assumes itself to be above the General Body and acts more like a Junta, has not informed the TANA member community as to what the reconciliation was or what settlements were made between the parties. This is after the fact that in a recent email, the Interim President indicated that the settlements will be made public to the General Body. Now they just come out with a statement informing us that they did what they thought was right.
Mr. Prabhakar Chowdary Kakarala – You said you stood like a “Rock” against the Governing Body for the sake of the members. You now remind me of my Childs “Play-Doh” and not a “Rock”. Shame on you
I now question the very intelligence and integrity of every TANA Governing Body member who have put the TANA member community through the “bleep” for over a year now, looked the other way as the Telugu communities across America divided and now come back to us and claim that all is well. Also, under your watch TANA has formally split with the formation of a new association called “North America Telugu Society (NATS)”. Shame on you
After putting the members through the roller coaster ride, then coming back and saying that all this is past and also constantly failing to resist the nefarious activities perpetrated by some within the Governing Body, I personally believe that none of the Governing Body members deserve to enjoy their positions anymore. If you have a conscience “You will quit”. And that is the least we expect out of you.
This is their kind of democracy in TANA, my friends, and will continue to be so, not because of them but because we the TANA Members allow them to do what they do. We take every “bleep” from the Governing Body without any questions. Now if we have any conscience we should resist this Junta. That is the least that is expected from us.
I could not shut my mouth and sit at home, so I spoke and will continue to do so.
