“However, the support base of Jagan has dwindled in the last one year considering that 150-odd MLAs had signed a petition demanding that he be made the chief minister in place of Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in September 2009. Many Jagan loyalists in order to retain their cabinet berths have ditched the scion of the YSR family in the interim”.
This implies a little anti-Jagan tone stating that Jagan has no supporter right now and he apparently took wrong decision.

“Sources said it was a clever strategy and he wants his supporters to continue in the party and create trouble for the government and the Congress”.
This is a clear pro-Jagan statement and anti-Congress voice.

Enemy’s enemy is a friend. Eenadu is happy for fire within Congress. It is happy that Sonia received chappal-treat from Jagan-activists. And at the same time the daily is not close with Jagan’s close friends like Vundavalli. Hence the tone of Eenadu is mixed- Just a little support and less hatred to Jagan.

The daily is apparently pro-Jagan and given a balanced analysis stating that this resignation may practically bring head aches to new CM Kiran Kumar Reddy during berths allotment at cabinet. The daily mentioned that this resignation brings problems for Sonia in one way and CM KKR in another way. The daily also ran an article with title ‘Okka Magadu’ supporting Jagan and showing him as a hero.

This daily is neutral and just reported the happenings in the state as it has nothing to do with good or bad within Congress. It showed little concern towards CM KKR’s seat.
