In a bid to outwit each other, Telugu television channels are stooping down to any extent, even it required killing of individuals.
See, how the channels have done in the case of ex-chairman of Satyam group Ramalinga Raju. Two of the channels NTV and TV-5 have been giving scrolling since morning that "Ramalinga Raju is terribly sick and his health condition is worsening." They said Raju was under treatment at his Kompally guest house.
Another shocking "breaking news" was that Satyam's Chief Finance Officer V Srinivas, who had resigned from his post on Thursday, attempted suicide.
Apparently, both the breaking news reports were based on hearsay at the Satyam office. Nobody knows where Raju and Srinivas are; yet, the channels are speculating even their death!
