Krishnaji Mandir is celebrating 03rd Indo-American Community Fair

HATCC, Sri Guruvaayoorappan Temple (Sri Krishnaji Mandir) is celebrating its 03rd Annual Indo-American Community Fair on Sep 12th and Sep 13th 2015 from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM at the Sprawling temple premises at 31 Wooleytown Road, Morganville, NJ. 

The Fair is the Flagship event of the temple and is open for the entire community to visit with families and enjoy various activities. It would be a great place to be with entire family. HATCC invites the devotee community to come and attend the Fair. 

The Fair has become an institution in Marlboro for Indian Art and Culture. Like in the previous year, this year also large number of devotees are visiting and enjoying the fair. Vendors from all over are participating, as in the past, to display their best-enriched artwork to attract and evoke interest in people. The two day fair offers many opportunities to vendors and sponsors to interact with thousands of potential customers at a personal level. 

This year the Indo-American Fair  showcases various items of Indian art, handicrafts, costume jewelry, traditional Indian dresses, paintings, real estate, education, banks, mortgage, investment advise, multi-linguistic cultural programs including regional dances. The fair integrates and fortifies different communities and presents a true diversity, varied arts, various cultures and programs under one platform. 

During the fair, HATCC Cultural Committee is organizing Indian Classical & Folk dances and music programs from our own local talent. There are many fun activities for children such as clowns, face painting and Inflatables are offered during the fair. 

About Krishna Temple:
The Krishna temple is built on a 42 Acre property with parking for over 300 cars, located at 31 Wooleytown Road, Morganville, NJ 07751, and is one of the largest temples in USA. The Temple built the priest’s quarters consisting of twelve, fully-furnished apartments in 2010. 

The upper level of the temple houses all the sanctums within an area of ~17,500 sq. ft. The lower level has a multi-purpose hall, facilities, gift-shop, and board room. The magnificent granite steps lead to the temple in the upper level. 

We have 18 steps in the south side of the front that lead to the Ayyappan sanctum. The presiding deity of the Temple is Lord Sri Guruvaayoorappan. In addition, the temple houses, Ganesha; Subrahmanya with Valli and Devasena; Siva with Ambika; Balaji with Sridevi & Bhudevi;; Ayyappa; Satyanarayana; Kannikaparameshwari; Bhadrachalam Rama, Krishna, Durga/Lakshmi/Saraswati, Gayatri, Kalabhairava, Hanuman and Navagrahas. 

All images are of Granite and sculptured by traditional artisans of Tamilnadu. Lord Ayyppa sanctum will have the 18-steps similar to those in Sabarimala in Kerala. 

In addition, the temple houses the utsava murty’s of Lord Kalyana Srinivasa with Sridevi and Bhudevi from the Tirumala-Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), and Lord Satyanarayana from the Annavaram Satyanarayana Swami Devasthanam. The temple maintains a go-shala (cow-shed) with Bharati and Surabhi offering milk for Abhishekam to our deities.
