Swami Nityananda, who gained notoriety as sex swamy after allegedly caught in a video having sex with actress Ranjita, proved to the world why he is a maverick character.
Popular television channel TV9 made a live telecast of Nityananda’s “Kundalini Yagam” at Bangalore on Friday and those who watched it were astonished with the happenings there. Swamy was seated on a highly decorated golden throne with all paraphernalia. He was adorned with golden crown for some time, before he took it away to wear his regular saffron turban. He was wearing heavy garland and displaying his psychic behaviour.
And hundreds of devotees who came to the yagam from all parts of the country and abroad were in a frenzy mood. They were swinging and swaying like mad people. And actress-turned-disciple Ranjita was behaving like a mad girl. She untied her hair and was dancing madly to the bhajans. At times, she was shivering like a schizophrenic woman.
One was wondering whether she would tear away her dress in front of everybody. So were some male devotees. And Nityananda was giving instructions from his throne for all these devotees.
One devotee defended the actions saying it was all part of the yagam, when Swami would invoke the Kundalini Shakti among the devotees.
“It will unearth the inner power among the devotees and make them supreme human beings,” she said.
