Today is a very special day. Because it is the last day of the year and because the coming year is coming with lot of apprehensions. Yes, as we step into 2012, there is a big question striking our minds- is it our last New Year day? Well, given the predictions on doomsday, such beliefs are getting strong.
Even a couple of decades ago mentioned something similar that year 2000 will be the dooms day. And then came the new group claiming that December 21st, 2012 would be the end of the world. If that be true then mankind is reaching its end. But practically speaking, how true can that be?!
Over the last decade, we have seen some unusual natural calamities like Tsunamis, Swine Flus etc. This was not heard before. Glaciers are breaking in the north and globe is getting hotter. Whether December 21st, 2012 will be the D-Day or not, going by the way things are shaping up, mankind is ensuring that they are taking Mother Earth to the brink of destruction in a very quick way.
