Is Nityananda's Sexual Act A Sin?
The last few months has seen a lot happening in the case of Nityananda. More than his spirituality it is his sexual escapades and happenings at his Ashram which have hit headlines. While many sections are criticizing Nityananda for his acts, there are those who are trying to figure out what wrong has he done.

The rationalists are saying “There are two aspects here- Sin and crime. Sin is related to religion and crime is related to law and constitutions. A person committing crime is a criminal but a sinner need not be a criminal. So what is Nityananda’s mistake? Is he not supposed to have sex?”

They add “If he is really torturing women and having sex with them forcibly then it is a crime but if women are coming voluntarily is he liable for arrest? Because he is a Godman is he not supposed to have sex? When gods can have children why not Godmen? Moreover, capturing in camera and invading his privacy is not right.”

For this, the spiritualists are saying “Nityananda has projected himself to be a Godman so he holds a certain position in society and among the public. If he considers himself divine then celibacy is a must. He cannot keep sleeping around with women and try to preach spirituality.”
