Is Brother-Sister Relation Without Blood Relation Safer?

One of the sacred festivals of our country is the Rakhi Festival. The essence of this is to signify the love of a brother for his sister and she is the queen of the day.

The ideal situation is, brother and sister of blood relation including cousins (in few communities) fall under this category to celebrate the festival. Also, I see a lot of Rakhis getting sold like hot cakes during the fest. But the doubt that came to my mind is, whether all these Rakhis are being tied to brothers in the blood line?

Well…my opinion is.. not all are relations or blood relations. More than blood, they are the more ‘Devudu Ichchina Chellulu’’ and their quantity is high.

Of course, there are credible and genuine cases of brother-sister bonding outside blood but one cannot give a generic view of this. The problem is, few groups are taking this as license they are getting into shady activities. The logic is simple, if a man and woman have lust then the only way to cover it is by using this relation.

While that has been one side to it, the other side is, there are situations wherein Rakhi is tied outside in places like offices and colleges but eventually the brother-sister end up getting married one day or the other. And this is one of the most disgusting thing anyone can do. That way, it is better off to have a friend than have a sister. Agreed that many girls tend to address boys as ‘Bhaiyya’ or ‘Anna’ but it is better they really mean it or say it only when they mean it.

Even in school stage also, such things are happening and it should not be encouraged at any cost. Due to these perverted minds and crooked brains, the very faith of having a Rakhi festival is being shaken in its foundation. Truth is, I don’t have a sister but I sure know the value of not having a sister and the emotional quotient that comes out of it. So, it is despising to see when I hear someone use the words like ‘Muh Boli Behen’ or ‘Devudu Ichchina Chellulu’ and have a totally different feeling from inside. Think about it folks!!
